EGWEA participation in ICREA, 16-18 April 2008

EGWEA president, professor Galal Osman is attending the International Conference on Renewable Energy in Africa (ICREA) held in Dakar, Senegal, 16-18 2008.  Within the conference technical program, Prof. Osman first presentation on April 16th is titled “Policy and regulatory issues for grid connected wind energy in Egypt, implications for scaling up” on April 16th and his second presentation on April 17th is titled “Large Wind Farms – Project in Egypt”.

ICREA is a joint activity of the Government of Senegal, the African Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).  The conference focuses on renewable energy markets for Africa in terms of policies, industries and finance for scaling-up.  ICREA website is: http://www.unido.org/index.php?id=o76539
