WWEA Vice-President and EGWEA President, Prof Galal Osman, will be presenting a talk titled “Hybrid Intermittent Renewable Energy Supplies / Natural Gas  back up” at the Marriott Hotel, Zamalek, Cairo on Thursday Feb. 12th, 2009, at 9:45 am.

The presentation will be during the round table on Energy Tariffs and Investment organized by EAMGCC (The Euro-Arab Mashreq Gas Co-operation Centre).  EAMGCC aims to promote the development of gas markets in the Mashreq region and links to gas markets in the European Union.  It was established in February 2006 with funding from the European Union and from the Governments of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.  A key part of EAMGCC activities involves promoting public debate on issues relating to gas market development.
